It is with great pleasure that we welcome you, on behalf of the children, parents, staff and governors to St Laurence Church of England Primary School’s website.

We hope you will find it engaging, interesting and informative.

St Laurence is proud to be a Church of England Primary School and part of the Derby Diocese Multi Academy Trust.  There are 194 pupils in school.  We are a friendly, happy learning community providing education for pupils from the age of four, until our pupils move on to secondary school at the age of eleven.

Our aim is to give every one of our pupils a happy and exciting start to their learning journey and to instill a love of learning and strong values which prepare each young person for a successful and fulfilling future.

Our children come together into our Early Years from a number of different settings in the locality. They settle quickly and get off to a flying start in our wonderful Early Years unit.

We currently have seven classes, so the school is small enough for us to know all of our pupils and forge strong relationships with our families, which is very important to us.

Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you will find all the information you need here on this site, but please telephone or email us if you need further details or if you wish to arrange a visit.
