At St Laurence Church of England Primary School, we teach Religious Education from the Kapow Scheme of Work. This scheme has been aligned with the Derbyshire Syllabus 2025-2030.

Parents in the UK have a legal right to withdraw their children from religious education (RE) lessons and collective worship, entirely or partially. This applies to all school types (including academies) under the School Standards and Framework Act 1998. Parents do not need to provide a reason, though schools may request a meeting to discuss the request.
