Welcome to Liverpool class
This half term our learning challenge is based around the question - Could you survive a natural disaster? We have been learning about volcanoes and earth quakes. We have written an information text about volcanoes and we are now writing a story about Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius erupting. We have learnt about different types of rocks and investigated if they are durable, permeable or how dense the rock was. We had a fun afternoon and we were really lucky that some of our parents were able to join us.

We expect children in Liverpool class to read regularly. Each week we count up how many times the children have read and record this for our reading challenge - reading around our rocket. As the children progress around the planets there are rewards. Our new whole school reading scheme - Bug club, has a variety of books that the children can read on their computer or tablet at home. Complete comprehension challenges to receive coins. Challenge yourself!
We at the beginning of another exciting half term and the lead up to Christmas. We have started our new topic of, Who were the Anglo Saxon ?
