Day 2, 25.01.20 first day in Kolkata
We arrived in Kolkata on Saturday morning and our first experience of the city was a bus ride to the hotel. The roads were very busy and the noise of beeping horns incredible! On the way we passed a Mini Big Ben in the middle of the road as well as lots of different sorts houses, some of which are made from different materials found around the streets.
Day 1
In the afternoon we were taken to a place called Eco Park. Here we saw the seven wonders of the world...in miniature! If you look closely in the photo showing the Easter Island statues you will see a part finished bridge in the background. This is probably the only time you will be able to see a photo of the Great Wall of China next to the Colosseum which is in Rome.
