Class Information

How bloodthirsty were the Tudors?

​​​​​Our Learning Challenge this half term is based on the Tudors. We are learning about how people lived in Tudor England and about important Tudor monarchs. 


Space and Earth

We are learning about the solar system in our science lessons. We made marvellous solar system mobiles during the open afternoon. 



Spellings and times tables are sent home every Friday. These should be practised regularly. 


Creative homework:


Due in: 21st October 2019 


Create a model, collage, poem (or similar) based on our topic "How bloodthirsty were the Tudors?"


PE is planned to take place on Friday. Please make sure appropriate PE kit is in school all week. PE kit should consist of a white t-shirts, black/navy shorts or jogging bottoms, a jumper if it's cold, trainers or plimsolls. 


Year 5 children go swimming on Wednesday afternoon. 

Library and reading books

Our library day is Thursday. Remember to bring your library book if it needs to be changed!


Reading books and reading records should be in school every day. Reading records are checked every Friday. Children should aim to read 5 times a week.
