Summer 2
This half-term our curriculum question is "Who Can Help Us?" We will be learning about people who help us in our community and the important roles of doctors, vets, police officers and firefighters, and how they help to keep us healthy, safe and cared for.
As part of our Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE), we will be exploring the different factors that support our health and wellbeing, including:
Regular physical activity
Healthy eating
Toothbrushing and dental hygiene
Sensible amounts of screen time
Good sleep routines
Staying safe as a pedestrian
We will also continue our learning about the seasons by identifying the signs of summer and discussing how the world around us changes throughout the year.
In addition, we will be thinking about change and growth. We will talk about how we change as we get older and reflect on the progress we have made this year. Children will be encouraged to share their own experiences, such as growing taller, losing teeth, learning new skills, becoming more independent and developing confidence in different areas of their lives.
We look forward to an exciting and engaging half-term of learning!
